Calendar Changes
There have been a couple big changes to the March calendar that you need to be aware of. First...The 2 Day Mission scheduled for the 2nd week of Spring Break will not be happening. Stay tuned to the blog for a Spring Break announcement this week. The Senior Luncheon this month will also need to be rescheduled due to building scheduling issues. We will reschedule and let you all know the new date soon. 

Winter Retreat Thanks!
We had a fantastic Winter Retreat last week in Pigeon Forge. I pray that you have taken the challenge you made to yourself to unplug seriously this week. Remember, you can accomplish anything if you let go and let God lead you. Thanks to all the adults that came to help make this a great trip. Thanks to John and Andy for the great lessons. 

Sunday Night Devotional
Our Next Sunday Night Devotional will be on Sunday Night, March 24. Vans will leave Jefferson immediately after evening services and will return to the building by 9pm. The Savage family will be hosting us at Cream City Ice Cream (Don't worry...there will be more to eat than ice cream!)

Are You Reading The Story???
We are engaged in a year long study of the Word using The Story as our outline. Here is the March schedule
March 3: Chapter 6- "Wandering" (Selections from Numbers and Deuteronomy)
March 10: Chapter 7- "The Battle Begins" (Joshua 1-11 and 23-24)
March 17: Chapter 8- "A Few Good Men...And Women" (Judges 2-16)
March 24: Chapter 9- "The Faith of a Foreign Woman" (Ruth 1-4)
March 31: Chapter 10- "Standing Tall, Falling Hard" (1 Samuel 1-15)
We purchased copies of The Story for every teen in the youth ministry. If you didn't receive a copy, I have extra copies that I received last week. Please come get a copy AND PLEASE BE READING EACH WEEK! If you haven't come this year, don't feel left out. We recap every week, you can catch up fast! 

It's Time to Plan For The Summer! 
June 2-7 is the date of GO! Camp 2013
June 16-21 is the date for Short Mountain Bible Camp 2013
I can't begin to describe to you how awesome Summer Camps are going to be this year! Sign Up Sheets are going up this week for these camps. I need you to sign-up so I can start to calculate the 2 for $250 costs for both camps. Check the 2 for 250 link for more information.

The Spring Retreat Will Be Here Before You Know It!
April 19-21 is the date for this year's Spring Retreat. THEATRON will be our special guests for the weekend! The Senior Class will be planning all of the weekend activities. I hope everyone will bring their friends and join us for this challenging weekend together.
